Pucking awesome moment for New York Rangers' Dan Girardi
There was one of those believe-it-or-not-moments in the third period of the New York Rangers' 3-2 win over the Dallas Stars on Saturday.
Play came to a stop when the puck appeared to hit Rangers defenseman Dan Girardi in the face.
However, this was the veteran's lucky day as rather than doing damage, the puck somehow wedged between Girardi's face and visor.
The world's biggest and toughest-looking eye patch left Girardi with a smile as he removed the puck from under the visor.
Girardi and his teammates had more reason to enjoy the day as a late goal by Kevin Klein gave the Rangers the road victory.
#GottaSeeIt: Where's the puck? Oh, just wedged between Dan Girardi's face and visor.https://t.co/NoVbJYZ6g1
