Indiana hires Dayton's Archie Miller as its new head basketball coach
Indiana announced the hiring of Archie Miller as its head basketball coach on Saturday.

Miller spent the past six years as Dayton head coach and led the Flyers to four consecutive NCAA tournaments, reaching the Elite Eight in 2014. Miller, 38, had no previous head-coaching experience in the NCAA prior to taking over for the Flyers, with whom he went 139-63. Dayton went 24-8 and won the Atlantic-10 regular-season title this season, before losing to Wichita State in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
Miller released this statement Saturday:
