Cardinals outfielder Stephen Piscotty will make a brief return to big league squad on Sunday, getting the call-up to serve as the team's 26th man for Sunday's special Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Major League Baseball will allow both the Cardinals and Pirates to call-up a 26th man for the special game aimed at bringing more attention to the Little League World Series.

He was eventually was optioned to Triple-A Memphis on August 7 where he's played in eight games so far. He is batting .313 with four home runs, three doubles and seven RBIs with the Memphis Redbirds.

Prior to being sent down, Piscotty was hitting .232 with six home runs and 31 RBI over 75 games with the Cardinals.
