First video emerges of Tim Tebow swinging a baseball bat
It’s the news no one could have ever imagined hearing when they woke up this morning: Tim Tebow is pursuing a career in professional baseball. What seemed like a lark early became official later in the day, with Tebow even being offered his first professional contract earlier in the day.
So, yeah, this story has taken over the Internet. But in Tebow’s defense, we should remember this: Back in his younger days, Tebow wasn’t a bad baseball player. Tebow was All-State as a junior, hitting nearly .500 before giving up the sport to focus on football his senior year.
So, in theory, Tebow could be good at this whole baseball thing. Based on video that surfaced Tuesday afternoon, it could work out in his favor.
Here is video of Tim Tebow taking swings on the diamond. Honestly, his swing doesn’t look so bad.
Then again, there's this other video in which he doesn’t look all that good.
Tebow in the cage. Judge for yourself. You tell me if that swing gets past AA. pic.twitter.com/7Ij0pfK5cv

Either way, I think it’s safe to assume that there are still a lot of layers to this whole ‘Tim Tebow baseball player’ deal to peel back, before we figure out whether he really can -- or will even have the opportunity -- to play at baseball’s highest level.
One thing’s for certain: If you thought the Tebow NFL circus was crazy, you haven't seen anything yet.
