The Nationals' Ben Revere had absolutely no business robbing this homer
Nationals center fielder Ben Revere made his bid for catch of the year in Friday’s night’s 7-6 win over the Braves.
The Braves’ Freddie Freeman drove a Tanner Roark offering deep to right-center field in the fourth inning when Revere arrived to save the day. After leaping over the wall to rob Freeman, Revere crashed into the wall.

"The ball sound pretty good off the bat, so I thought Freeman got all of it," Revere told reporters, according to the Nationals’ website. "Then I looked up, I say, 'It's already a home run.' As I'm getting closer, I may have a chance at this. I leaped and then I had a chance."
According to MLB’s Statcast technology, Revere covered nearly 117 feet in the outfield with a maximum speed of nearly 20 mph to make the catch.
