LeBron James is one of the most physically imposing players in NBA history, but even the Cleveland Cavaliers superstar gets choked up from time to time. James dropped in on the Road Trippin’ podcast hosted by teammates Richard Jefferson and Channing Frye and reporter Allie Clifton on Sunday, telling the group that “real men cry.”

So what gets the King all misty-eyed? It appears movies and TV shows can bring him to tears, saying “The Lion King” and an episode of “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” in which Will Smith’s estranged father in the series shows up but leaves has an effect on the four-time league MVP. James says he never saw his own father.

James also admitted that he told his wife “I’ve at times lost the fact of how important you are to this whole thing” in his obsession with greatness. The 13-time All-Star is one of the most decorated players in NBA history and is seeking his fourth title.

James displayed raw emotion at the end of last year's dramatic Game 7 win over the Warriors, breaking down moments after leading the Cavaliers to their first title in franchise history in which they became the first team in Finals history to erase a 3-1 deficit.
