Warriors' Andre Iguodala receives the NBA's first flop warning of the season

Golden State's Andre Iguodala received a warning for violating the league’s anti-flopping rule in Tuesday night's loss to the Spurs. It was the first warning of the season, and it was well-deserved.

It did appear that Kawhi Leonard caught Iguodala below the belt, but his attempt to exaggerate the contact went well beyond what the league will accept. The official rule reads as follows:

The NBA flopping rule states that players may not commit any physical act that, following review, reasonably appears to be intended to cause the game officials to call a foul on another player.

Small fines, beginning at $5,000 and increasing with each subsequent offense, are issued beginning with a player's second violation.
