Matt Flynn doesn't understand irony, blasts Brock Osweiler's big contract

Journeyman quarterback Matt Flynn just couldn't resist.

You would think that if anyone would have applauded 25-year-old Brock Osweiler for signing a robust four-year, $72 million contract with the Houston Texans, it would have been the guy who parlayed basically one great start for the Packers in Jan. 2012 into $9 million guaranteed from the Seattle Seahawks.

Not quite. Here's how Flynn reacted to Osweiler's deal that includes $37 million guaranteed:

For a good time, buckle up and check Flynn's mentions.

Drafted by the Broncos in the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, Osweiler made his first start filling in for Peyton Manning in Week 9 of the 2015 season with mixed results. Then in Week 17, head coach Gary Kubiak reinstalled Manning in the middle of the game where Manning remained for the playoffs and Super Bowl run.

Flynn has earned a nice pile of money as a career backup (after getting paid starter money by Seattle) with seven total starts in his seven-year career. Of course, backup quarterback is a perfectly respectable and important position as the Colts, Bengals, Steelers and certainly the Texans know.

Now the only QB remaining on the defending champion Denver Broncos' roster? This guy right here:
