Bills players explain why 'nobody likes the Patriots'
There's a lot of tension heading into the highly anticipated matchup between the New England Patriots and the Buffalo Bills. Head coach Rex Ryan started the trash talk by saying his game plan for the Patriots has been done for a while, yet he also doesn't know Dion Lewis' name.
Now, Bills players have chimed in and added fuel to the fire.
"Don't nobody likes the Patriots," Marcell Dareus said via Mike Rodak of ESPN. "Let's just be honest about it now. Put it out there."
Dareus is set to return from his one-game suspension to take on the Bills' bitter rivals, and it seems obvious he has some extra motivation for Sunday's game.
As if Dareus' comments weren't enough to stir the pot, safety Aaron Williams had some not-so-kind words to say about New England, as well.
"I hate New England. ... It's definitely personal for me," Williams said.
When asked why he doesn't like the Patriots, he explained that it has to do with their on-field attitude.
"Just the way they carry themselves on the field and stuff," he said. "All the stuff that has happened to me in the past with some of the players has definitely gone through the roof for me."
There will be a lot of tension on the field Sunday, and it's easy to see why. They're bitter rivals to begin with, but all of this trash talking could make things even more heated. Ralph Wilson Stadium will be a madhouse this weekend in what should be a great game between the two teams.
