Bills QB Tyrod Taylor optimistic he'll play Sunday vs. Jaguars

The Buffalo Bills are dealing with a handful of significant injuries ahead of Sunday's game in London, but they could get one important player back this week.

According to Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News, quarterback Tyrod Taylor is optimistic that he'll be able to play against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Taylor also said he has no limitations in his knee.

Taylor missed Week 6 against the Cincinnati Bengals due to a sprained MCL, but he's also dealt with a couple of other injuries this season, including ankle and chest ailments. An MCL injury usually sidelines a player for several weeks, so if Taylor is able to return after just two weeks, it'd be a pleasant surprise for the Bills.

EJ Manuel started in Taylor's place last week, and while he didn't play terribly, he also wasn't as explosive as Taylor's been this season. In two games without Sammy Watkins and LeSean McCoy, Taylor was forced to carry the Bills on offense -- something Manuel was unable to do with both players on the field with him.
