Cam Newton says his race affects how he's perceived

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton is the favorite to win the 2015 NFL MVP award, but he was asked in his Wednesday press conference why he still faces some level of criticism.

Newton finished the regular season with 35 passing touchdowns, 10 rushing touchdowns, 3,874 passing yards 636 more on the ground. He's been stellar in the playoffs, too, throwing for 496 yards and three touchdowns in two wins.
