Dez Bryant rips 'fake Cowboy fans' after win over Buccaneers

The Dallas Cowboys nabbed a much-needed victory on Sunday night against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, moving them one step closer towards locking up home-field advantage in the NFC. More importantly, it silenced all of those calling for Dak Prescott to be benched, and those saying the Cowboys were due for a collapse.

With Dallas seemingly back on track, Dez Bryant wanted to take a moment to call out (and rip) all of the fake fans out there who doubted the Cowboys.

“I’m talking to the fake Cowboy fans, I’m talking to the bandwagons, I’m just talking about everybody,” Bryant said after the game. “First off, just jump off. Jump off. Like, we lost one game. We were 11-2. Like c’mon, man, this guy put us in this position and you just get to talking crazy. You know, we have one bad game, it’s crazy.”

Bryant was obviously referring to the Cowboys lull against the Giants last week, dropping their record to 11-2. Prescott had the worst game of his young career and the offense failed to get anything going. As Bryant states, it was one bad game followed up by an impressive performance against the Buccaneers.

Prescott completed 32 of 36 passes in the game, proving that he’s more than capable of leading this team going forward. Bryant has the upmost confidence in the rookie quarterback, and with good reason. He just wants the rest of the real Cowboys fans to do the same.
