The Eagles appear to be making somewhat of a clean break from the Chip Kelly era. Kelly brought in Mathews before last season, when Philadelphia finished 7-9.
Murray struggled in his first years in Philadelphia.
Murray rushed for 702 yards and six touchdowns a year after leading the NFL in rushing with the Cowboys, running for 1,845 yards.
Earlier Monday, the Eagles dealt Byron Maxwell and Kiko Alonso -- two other players Kelly added last offseason -- to the Dolphins for draft picks.
The Eagles reportedly are also listening to offers for running back Ryan Mathews, yet another Kelly addition.
#Eagles have made it known that it's not just DeMarco Murray who is available, but also Ryan Mathews, as well, for the right price.
