Quinn and O'Brien worked together in the New England Patriots' scouting department from 2002-2011. After they split, O'Brien spent one season with the Kansas City Chiefs (2012) and then went on to Jacksonville.
Jaguars general manager Dave Caldwell praised the job O'Brien did in their front office.

Now reunited in Detroit, Quinn and O'Brien will try to replicate the success they experienced together in New England.
