Devon Still certainly understands how devastating and traumatic a diagnosis of cancer can be to a person and their family due to his young daughter Leah’s battle with Stage 4 neuroblastoma. So to hear that a 14-year-old girl battling leukemia was being bullied online really hit home for the former Cincinnati Bengals defensive lineman.

Upon learning of a heartbreaking experiences of Nicole Pfister, Still did what he could do to lift her spirits by treating her and her mother to a trip to Disney World, as reported by TMZ.

“Just got off the phone with this beautiful young lady and her mom and as you can tell from her story below she is not going to let the ignorance of others stop her,” Still writes.

Still announced earlier this month that Leah is showing no signs of cancer after a lengthy and successful battle. He was released by the Bengals earlier this season but will retain his health insurance benefits for five years. Still currently is an NFL free agent.
