Dolphins WR Kenny Stills inexplicably drops surefire 71-yard TD against Seahawks
The Miami Dolphins are attempting to go into Seattle and pick up the biggest upset of the week against the Seahawks. Dropping surefire 71-yard touchdowns won’t make that task any easier.
Less than a minute into the second quarter, Ryan Tannehill found Kenny Stills wide open deep down the field and hit him with a beautifully thrown pass. Only, Stills botched the reception, dropping what would have been the easiest score of his career -- or any player’s career, for that matter.
Uh oh.

Kenny Stills was WIDE open...

The next play, Tannehill was sacked for an eight-yard loss which put Miami well behind the chains. The drive ended two plays later when the Dolphins punted.
Stills undoubtedly cost the Dolphins seven points and missed out on a chance to give the Dolphins a huge momentum boost. It was surprising to see, especially given the impressive preseason he put together.
