Green Bay Packers looking for electricity in return game

The Green Bay Packers have plenty of options when it comes to finding a playmaker who can serve as a return specialist this season. Tyler Dunne of the Journal Sentinel names Ty Montgomery, Micah Hyde, Jared Abbrederis, Jeff Janis, Damarious Randall, Quinten Rollins and even Randall Cobb as candidates for the kick and punt return jobs.

The most promising option might be Montgomery, a third-round selection out of Stanford who's already drawing comparisons to Cobb. Recently, Montgomery spoke about what goes into a good return man.

"I think a good return man has speed, quickness, a will to break tackles and find the end zone," Montgomery told the Journal Sentinel. "There's no second down on special teams, so you can't be complacent. As a return man, you have to be willing to fight."

At Stanford, Montgomery averaged 27.4 yards per kick return and 19.8 yards per punt return.
