Josh Norman invokes Kermit the Frog in response to Julio Jones torching Carolina
The Carolina Panthers were absolutely shredded by Julio Jones and the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, exposing the grave weakness that is their lackluster secondary. This is a big change from last season, when it was absolutely dominant, but losing three of four starters -- including Pro Bowler Josh Norman -- on the back end can significantly hurt a team.
The result was a 300-yard game by Julio Jones and 503 passing yards from Matt Ryan. James Bradberry, Daryl Worley and Bene Benwikere were no match for Jones, unlike Norman from a year ago.
After the Redskins’ win over the Browns, Norman was asked about Jones’ eye-popping performance. His response was everything you’d expect it to be.
Josh Norman on Julio Jones 300 yard day: "I'm just gonna sip my tea on that one" #RedskinsTalk

If you’re not familiar with the tea-sipping reference, it stems from the wildly popular meme of Kermit the Frog sipping tea from a glass. It essentially means, “that’s none of my business,” or, “I told you so.”
Norman has never been one to mince his words, but he didn’t need to say much here. His point was heard loud and clear, and probably rang through the halls back in Charlotte. The Panthers have seemingly made a huge mistake letting Norman go, and he’s not going to let them forget it any time soon.
