Julio Jones takes minority stake in dining and entertainment company
It's not surprising to see professional athletes invest in different businesses or restaurants. Another name to tack onto the list of business owners who play in the NFL? Julio Jones of the Atlanta Falcons.
According to Phil W. Hudson of the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Jones has partnered with Latitude 360. "The Jacksonville, Fla.-based dining and entertainment company reported the first location is a planned site near the Mall of Georgia in Buford, Ga."
Jones released the following statement about his decision to team up with Latitude 360:
“This is an exciting investment and partnership, enabling Latitude 360 to expand into Alabama and Georgia, two states that are very important to me,” Jones told the Atlanta Business Chronicle in a statement. “I’m pleased to be part of a quality organization that provides entertainment for a wide variety of consumers and corporate clients, including amazing food, sports theatre, grill, bar, dancing, luxury bowling, games, live entertainment and more.”
Best of luck to Jones with his new business venture!
