Jamaal Charles impresses in rehab video four months after ACL surgery
When Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles went down with a torn ACL in his right knee in October, there was little doubt he'd be able to return and reclaim his spot as one of the game's best backs. After all, he had 1,509 rushing yards in 2012 -- one year after tearing the ACL in his left knee.
Charles is now four months removed from the injury and appears to be right on track for the start of next season. He provided an update on his rehab Friday, sharing a video of himself jumping rope and catching passes while balancing on a board. His caption: "Nobody else doing this four months after surgery! #WorkToWin"

When Charles does return, he'll have more competition than he did before. Charcandrick West and Spencer Ware both filled in admirably last season and should be in line to see increased touches next season as well.
Having too many talented running backs is an issue all 32 teams would like to have, and the Chiefs are fortunate to have that problem.
