Report: Woman turns five bucks into $100,000 by hitting 15-leg NFL parlay

Tayla Polia had apparently made only one previous bet in her life and didn't even understand how the spread works, so of course she reportedly hit the jackpot betting on Week 15 in the NFL.

Polia -- a 26-year-old from Boston who moved to Las Vegas two months ago -- nailed a 15-leg parlay at 20,000-to-1 odds that turned her $5 bet into $100,005, according to ESPN. Polia placed the bet online with the firm William Hill.

Because Polia didn't understand spreads at first, she thought her parlay was over after the first slate of games on Sunday when she saw the Panthers beat the Giants. From Darren Rovell's story:
