Michael Bennett: Seahawks defensive line doesn't get enough credit

Published May. 21, 2015 11:51 a.m. ET

Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett is not one to hold back how he really feels.

Bennett was on 750 The Game where he claimed the defensive line has not gotten the praise it deserves these past two seasons.

“I actually think our defensive line didn’t get a lot of credit for the things we do and the ability to stop the run, put pressure on the passer and the things we do as a defensive front,” he said. “We don’t get the credit we deserve.”

Bennett then went on to say that the other positions besides the offensive line aren't really doing much anyways.

“I always tell people, defensive front and offensive line is where you win championships. Pretty much everybody else is just running around.”

Bennett had some classic quotes talking about coach Pete Carroll and having a baby of his own. The interview in its entirety can be listened to here
