Report: Former Rams DE Michael Sam gets engaged

Former NFL player Michael Sam is engaged, according to reports.

Sam has been vacationing in Europe with Vito Cammisano, the boyfriend Sam kissed after he was drafted, and the duo made it official this week, during which Sam celebrated his 25th birthday.

Sam was selected in the seventh round by the St. Louis Rams last year, then released and signed to the Dallas Cowboys' practice squad. The Cowboys released the former SEC Defensive Player of the Year in October.

Sam still thinks he can play in the NFL and doesn't believe he's being kept out because he's gay.
