Minnesota Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer missed his team’s last game on Dec. 1 after undergoing emergency eye surgery the day before, and even though he was back on the sideline Sunday in Jacksonville, he still showed the effects of the procedure.
Zimmer’s right eye was bandaged underneath sunglasses as he coached the team on a sunny Florida afternoon.
The Vikings were hoping to turn around a slide that has seen them lose six of their last seven games. The Jaguars might be just the right opponent for that. They entered Sunday’s matchup with a seven-game losing streak.
