Three Vikings make PFWA's 2015 All-Rookie team

The Minnesota Vikings made some stellar draft picks in 2015, as evidenced by the All-Rookie team selected by the Pro Football Writers of America.

Wide receiver Stefon Diggs, linebacker Eric Kendricks and defensive end Danielle Hunter made the team.

Kendricks was a second-round pick out of UCLA who played in 14 games with 11 starts. He stood out as an athletic linebacker who led the team with 92 tackles (72 solo, five for losses). He also recorded four sacks and a defended pass, making him a promising player to pair with Anthony Barr.

Hunter, an LSU product, was picked one round later. He served as a reserve pass-rusher, appearing in 14 games with only one start. He had 33 tackles (29 solo, three for losses) and finished second on the team with six sacks -- one more than the player who started ahead of him, Brian Robison.

The Vikings picked Diggs in the fifth round, and the former Maryland Terrapin became the surprise of the season. He caught 52 passes, including four touchdowns, for a team-leading 720 receiving yards. This young receiver should be one of quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's favorite targets for years to come.

Minnesota's 2015 draft class will serve as the team's foundation for the future.
