Reports: New York Jets RB Chris Johnson arrested on weapons charge
New York Jets running back Chris Johnson was reportedly arrested Friday night on a charge of open carrying of a firearm, a second degree misdemeanor, in his hometown of Orlando, Florida.
The arrest report was first tweeted out by Florida Today's Erika Esola and confirmed by Pro Football Talk, which also reported Johnson does not have a license to carry in his home state.

According to FOX Sports 1's Jay Glazer, police reportedly pulled Johnson over for rolling through a stop sign and found his found his licensed firearm under his seat instead of locked up in his car, which is considered an open carry misdemeanor.
East Carolina University product Johnson, 29, spent six years with the Tennessee Titans before signing with the New York Jets last year. He rushed for 663 yards and one touchdown in 2014.
