Patriots claim AFC East and break a record for consecutive division titles in the process

The AFC East crown once again belongs to the New England Patriots, who wrapped up their eighth consecutive division title after their 16-3 win over the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Division titles have become old hat for the Patriots, who have won 14 of the past 16 AFC East crowns. But this latest division title -- their eighth in a row -- holds more significance than the others. The Patriots passed the Rams for the longest streak of division titles in NFL history.
