Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger passed his way into Peyton Manning's company with another strong performance in Sunday's win over the San Francisco 49ers.

Roethlisberger and Manning now both have seven games with a passer rating above 150.0, good for second in NFL history. Craig Morton had eight during his 18-year career with the Broncos, Giants and Cowboys, according to Steelers media manager Dom Rinelli.

Roethlisberger completed 21 of 27 passes for 369 yards and three touchdowns without an interception for a passer rating of 155.8 on Sunday. He was also 5 of 6 for 239 yards and a touchdown on downfield throws of 30-plus yards, according to ESPN.com. The five completions marked the most for any NFL quarterback in the last 10 seasons. Drew Brees is the only other QB with four completions on passes of 30 or more yards downfield in that same span (2008, also against San Francisco).
