Donovan's 32: Gronkowski belongs in MVP talk as Pats keep flying

Published Dec. 23, 2014 11:00 a.m. ET

1. Patriots - Rob Gronkowski belongs in the top five in the MVP vote.

2. Packers - There are some questions about Aaron Rogers' health.

3. Cowboys - Great win over the Colts. Tony Romo should be top two in the MVP vote.

4. Seahawks - They're dominant defensively, and Russell Wilson is playing lights out.

5. Broncos - With four interceptions in Cincinnati, the whispers about Peyton's health are getting louder.

6. Lions - Stupid mistake by Dominic Raiola makes their trip to Green Bay much harder.

7. Colts - Exposed vs. the Cowboys. Way too many drops by Andrew Luck's receivers.

8. Steelers - Getting hot at the right time. Hard to understand how they lost to the Bucs and the Jets.

9. Ravens - Very disappointing loss in Houston. Might cost them a playoff spot.

10. Bengals - Great win for Andy Dalton in prime time. He'll get another chance next week in Pittsburgh with the AFC North title on the line.

11. Cardinals - Logan Thomas starting Week 17, their fourth starting QB this season. Has to be a first for a team with an 11-4 record.

12. Chargers - Will Philip Rivers be able to play with a bulging disk?

13. Chiefs - They need to beat the Chargers and hope for some help.

14. Dolphins - Joe Philbin lives to coach another season and can thank Ryan Tannehill for that.

15. Eagles - Future's in question at quarterback. It's safe to say Mark Sanchez is not the answer.

16. Giants - Odell Beckham Jr. for Rookie of the Year, and it's not even close.

17. Bills - Tough loss in Oakland, but overall there's reason for optimism for Doug Marrone's Bills.

18. Vikings - Teddy Bridgewater gives this fan base a lot to look forward to.

19. Rams - Ugly loss to the Giants. They need to get a real quarterback ASAP.

20. Texans - Another team that needs help at QB, but J.J. Watt is definitely a top three MVP candidate.

21. Panthers - Great shot to win the NFC South. Can't say enough about Cam Newton bouncing back from that car accident.

22. Falcons - Playing for Mike Smith's job.

23. Browns - The Johnny Manziel Era is over for this year.

24. Saints - Time to get ready for 2015.

25. 49ers - Where will Jim Harbaugh land and who replaces him?

26. Redskins - Great win for RG3. Can he and Jay Gruden make it work?

27. Raiders - Great win vs. the Bills. I like Derek Carr's potential if he can stay healthy.

28. Bears - Jay Cutler starting Week 17. I know a lot of Bears fans are hoping it's for the last time.

29. Jets - Season's over. Not fast enough.

30. Jaguars - Good win vs. Tennessee. Blake Bortles has a bright future.

31. Titans - Is Zach Mettenberger the quarterback of the future?

32. Buccaneers - The uniforms still look good.
