Jalen Richard isn’t expected to get many touches in the Raiders backfield, but he made the most of his first career carry Sunday against the New Orleans Saints.

With the Raiders trailing 27-19 in the fourth quarter, Richard took the handoff 75 yards for a touchdown, tying the score at 27 after the two-point conversion.

It was the first rushing attempt of Richard’s young career, which couldn’t have possibly gone any better than it did.

Surprisingly, Richard’s 75-yard gallop wasn’t the longest play of the game. Drew Brees and Brandin Cooks hold that honor as they hooked up for a 98-yard touchdown earlier in the game – the longest play in franchise history.
