Richard Sherman speaks out on recent police killings, doesn't take reporters' questions
Several players around the NFL have followed Colin Kaepernick's lead by protesting during the pregame singing of the national anthem in various ways. The Seattle Seahawks have taken a different approach, standing together arm-in-arm in what the team called a display of unity and a call for change.
In the wake of the recent incidents where Terence Crutcher and Keith Lamont Scott were shot and killed by police officers, Richard Sherman made a strong statement at Wednesday's media availability, and then left without taking questions from reporters.
It seems clear that players in the NFL are going to continue to use their platform to make their feelings known. With NBA training camps set to open next week, it'll be interesting to see if professional basketball players end up doing the same thing.
