Rams QB Keenum reportedly sustains concussion, allowed to stay in game
St. Louis Rams quarterback Case Keenum's head hit the ground in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 16-13 loss against the Baltimore Ravens.
Keenum, who appeared to sustain a head injury, attempted to get up but fell to the turf.
Keenum, however, stayed in the game and two plays later fumbled the ball as he was being sacked. While the NFL has spotters at each game, the action was never stopped.
The 27-year-old quarterback was diagnosed with a concussion after the game, according to Rams insider Miles Simmons. In fact, Keenum was made unavailable to the media after the game because, the Rams said, he was being evaluated for a concussion.
Former Patriots and Broncos offensive lineman Dan Koppen made his feelings known as he saw the play unfold.

Keenum was selected as the Rams' starter on Monday, replacing Nick Foles in a move that head coach Jeff Fisher said was designed to bolster the offense. The switch did not pay immediate dividends.
Keenum completed 12 of 26 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown. When the Rams needed him to move them deeper into Baltimore territory with the game on the line, he couldn't get any closer than the 34, and Greg Zuerlein's 52-yard field-goal attempt with 1:41 left was wide right.
