Vikings' Boone wishes fans would 'shut up' during offensive possessions

The Minnesota Vikings christened their new U.S. Bank Stadium on Sunday night and the end result was superb -- a 17-14 victory over the visiting Green Bay Packers -- but the Vikings didn't quite get the home-field advantage they had envisioned.

Head coach Mike Zimmer complimented the crowd, calling them "unbelievable," but left guard Alex Boone said that the volume was a nuisance during Minnesota's offensive possessions.

He's just saying, Vikings fans, but pay attention.

In total Minnesota got flagged for four false starts. When the home team is on offense, silence is golden. Once the Vikings score it's fine to go Full Gjallahorn.
