Winston knows he hasn't earned the No. 1 quarterback spot yet

Jameis Winston doesn't seem to boast or brag too often. In fact, he seems to understand his place in the offense at this point in time. While the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are rotating Winston and Mike Glennon with the first-team starters, Winston isn't concerned about that one bit. In fact, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times, the rookie knows the job isn't his until he goes out and earns it.

When he was asked about when he'd like to take over as the No. 1 quarterback, Winston had the following to say:

"As soon as I earn it,'' Winston told the Tampa Bay Times. "With this camp being the last week (before the team reports for training camp in Aug.), I feel like I've had great practices day in and day out and I'm just enjoying it. I haven't earned it until I get it.''

It's a great mindset to have, especially for a rookie. While Winston is saying that off the field, it's a pretty safe bet that he's doing anything and everything he can to earn that job during each practice
