Amanda Busick is a pit reporter for FOX Sports’ coverage of the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series and the ARCA Menards Series. She previously also held reporting duties for FOX Sports’ coverage of the FIA Formula E Championship. The 2024 season marks her ninth covering NHRA for FOX Sports.

In 2021, Busick joined the four-series SRO America’s GT World Challenge broadcast team as presenter of the series and pit lane reporter. She wrapped her inaugural season at Indianapolis Motor Speedway at the Indianapolis 8 Hour Endurance Event. In 2022, Busick added international duties with SRO’s parent series, Intercontinental GT Challenge, covering pit lane for the iconic 24 Hours of Spa in Belgium and the Kyalami 9 Hour in Johannesburg, South Africa.

In 2018, Busick served as pit lane reporter for Formula E’s doubleheader season finale from New York City that aired in more than 120 countries and on FOX and FS1 nationally. In 2021, Busick hosted prerace ceremonies alongside IndyCar Series champion Dario Franchitti and most recently supported the series at the Mexico City E-Prix in early 2022.

Busick made her MotorTrend debut in 2019 as co-host alongside Justin Bell for the 69th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and segued into reporter duties for MotorTrend and Discovery at the 2020 Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale.

As a live-event host/emcee, Busick has led press and promotional events for clients that include Formula 1, NFL On-Location, HUGO BOSS, Porsche, CrowdStrike, John Wooden College Basketball Tip-Off, World Wide Technology, Women Of FOX Sports, National Hot Rod Association and CS Global.

An avid supporter of the advancement of women in motorsports and automotive, Busick hosts the Women Shifting Gears Podcast that has featured over 50 guests including: fellow FOX NASCAR teammate Jamie Little; the first female Indy 500 Rookie of the Year, Lyn St. James, and the NHRA’s current Top Fuel champion, Brittany Force.

Busick is a native of Greensboro, N.C., and graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in Entrepreneurship. After college, she relocated to New York City and has also spent time in Chicago, Boston and Los Angeles. She currently resides in Raleigh, N.C., and is a proud “Auntie Am” to Madeleine Mac and Beckett Douglas. Busick credits her relentless pursuit and drive to her mom, Donna Busick.
