Player gives away shorts after being forbidden from handing off jersey

Leeds United defender Gaetano Berardi faced a dilemma on Saturday. After Leeds won 1-0 over Brentford, he was approached by fans who wanted his jersey, a common sight at a soccer match. But he couldn't give it away, perhaps because Leeds, much like Manchester United, doesn't want players giving away jerseys for free.

Berardi, eager to give back to his club's supporters, wasn't going to let that rule stop him, though. He figured out the perfect loophole: giving the fans his shorts instead.

He apologized, stripped down to his underwear, and gave the fans a souvenir they won't soon forget. The fans seemed absolutely thrilled with their new keepsake and Berardi walked back to the locker room in his underwear, all in the name of generosity.

Now that is dedication.
