Watch Chicharito score his 100th European goal to earn Bayer Champions League result
When Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez signed with Manchester United in 2010, he carried the weight of Mexico on his shoulders. He was their next great hope and he was at arguably the biggest club in the world. Now, six years later, he is a 100-goal scorer in Europe.
Chicharito never became a Manchester United superstar, but he did score 59 goals for the Red Devils. Then he found the net nine times in a loan spell at Real Madrid. Now, since moving to Bayer Leverkusen prior to last season, he has 32 goals for the German club for a total of 100.
The goals aren't going to stop for Chicharito either. After a hand injury sidelined him to start the season, he's scored five goals in five matches, including four in his last two contests. The Mexican is on fire and is only going to add to his goal total.
