How would you fare against Rousey? Gamecocks not so confident
Ronda Rousey is perhaps the most dominant fighter -- man or woman -- in the world today. The MMA figher is 12-0 in her career and has won each of her past three fights, including one Aug. 1 at UFC 190, in 34 seconds or less.
With that in mind, The State newspaper (Columbia, S.C.) did the obvious thing this week and went to South Carolina football players with the following question: How would you fare in a fight against Ronda Rousey?
There were a lot of grimaces in the video, which can be viewed here. There were also some amusing responses, including offensive lineman Trey Derouen's commentary: "If I could make it more than 30 (seconds), she would have respect for me, so I might put a ring on it."
Added safety Toure Boyd, "I mean, I probably wouldn't want to take that fight. ... I wouldn't even chance it. I can't get beat up by a girl; that'd ruin my whole image."
