Cardinals rookie LB dubbed 'Pound Cake' after apologizing to coaches with mom's baking

But thanks to his mother's baking skills, Jackson got into the coaching staff's good graces and earned a sweet nickname to boot.
“I pulled out these pound cakes, the best pound cakes from Georgia, homemade from scratch," Jackson recalled to the Cardinals Blog. "My Mom, she cooks the best pound cakes in the world."
“As a rookie, they don’t really know your name," Jackson said. "But they did not forget those pound cakes.”
