Daniel Cormier takes a shot at the official poster for UFC 210 in Buffalo
Daniel Cormier would like to have a chat with the art department over at the UFC.
The reigning and defending light heavyweight champion took to Instagram on Wednesday to express his displeasure with the official poster that was released to promote his upcoming fight against Anthony "Rumble" Johnson on April 8 in Buffalo.
The poster shows Johnson looming quite large in the background with Cormier as a slightly smaller figure in the foreground, despite walking into the fight as the champion.
"What is this? How many favors did 'Rumble' have to call in to make this [expletive] happen? Just remember last time the challenger looked so big on the poster RDA [Rafael dos Anjos) beat "Cowboy" [Cerrone] in one round," Cormier wrote.
The poster in question that Cormier referenced can be seen below.
Of course, Cormier isn't the first UFC champion to take umbrage with the UFC's poster department.
Conor McGregor famously ripped the UFC after his poster debuted for a previously scheduled fight against Rafael dos Anjos — and a change was later made to appease the then-featherweight champion.
Poster aside, Cormier will meet Johnson for a second time when they meet at UFC 210 in Buffalo on April 8.
