Elvis Mutapcic vs. Anthony Smith in the works for TUF 24 Finale
A middleweight matchup is in the works for the upcoming "Ultimate Fighter" finale on Dec. 3 as Elvis Mutapcic is expected to meet Anthony Smith.
Sources close to the contest confirmed the news to FOX Sports on Tuesday.
Mutapcic and Smith have actually been rivals in the Midwest fight scene and were previously scheduled to fight in a regional promotion.
At that time, Mutapcic got offered a fight in the UFC and he never got the chance to face Smith inside the cage.
Now the two fighters will get to settle some unfinished business when they meet at the upcoming "Ultimate Fighter" finale, which will be headlined by flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson taking on the winner of the tournament currently airing every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. ET on FS1.
Coaches Joseph Benavidez and Henry Cejudo will also meet on the same card.
