UFC 205: Alvarez vs. McGregor start time, fight card and how to watch
UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor tries to make UFC history Saturday against lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez when he tries to become the promotion’s first ever simultaneous two-weight champion.
McGregor is coming off a majority decision win over Nate Diaz at UFC 196 and is eager to add yet another record to his long list of accomplishments in the UFC. He’ll take on lightweight Eddie Alvarez, who won the belt from Rafael dos Anjos in July, is one of the hardest hitters in the entire division and has a solid wrestling pedigree to go with it.
In the co-main event, welterweight champion Tyron Woodley defends his title against dynamic striker Stephen Thompson while strawweight titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk takes on fellow Polish fighter Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
The card also features former champions Chris Weidman and Miesha Tate as they try to get back into title contention, making this event a must-see for all combat sports fans. Here’s a breakdown of when all the action starts.
