2024 NBA playoff odds: Should Celtics be favored over the field?

Is the NBA championship the Celtics' to lose?

The defending champion Denver Nuggets were sent packing in the conference semifinals by Minnesota , and the Celtics are heavy favorites (-1200) in their Eastern Conference finals matchup with Indiana.

The Celtics have been at or near the top of the NBA Finals oddsboard all season, and at FanDuel Sportsbook, they are currently favored to win the NBA title (-160).

With that, FanDuel is allowing bettors to wager on the Celtics vs. the field.

The field: +125 (bet $10 to win $22.50 total)

Boston has put together an 8-2 record through two rounds of the playoffs, losing Game 2 at home against Miami in the first round, and Game 2 at home against Cleveland in the second round.

The Celtics have yet to lose a road game in the postseason.
