Allette puts up 27 as Old Dominion downs Marshall 91-66

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Vasean Allette's 27 points helped Old Dominion defeat Marshall 91-66 on Thursday night.

Allette also added five rebounds and eight assists for the Monarchs (5-13, 1-6 Sun Belt Conference). Chaunce Jenkins scored 16 points while finishing 7 of 16 from the floor, and added five rebounds. Tyrone Williams had 13 points and was 6 of 10 shooting, including 1 for 3 from 3-point range, and went 0 for 3 from the line. The Monarchs stopped a six-game losing streak with the win.

Obinna Anochili-Killen led the way for the Thundering Herd (9-10, 4-2) with 21 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Nate Martin added 12 points and eight rebounds for Marshall. Kamdyn Curfman also had 12 points.

These two teams both play Saturday. Old Dominion hosts UL Monroe and Marshall visits James Madison.
