NORFOLK, Va. (AP) — Kris Bankston scored 23 points and Norfolk State beat Morgan State 72-50 on Saturday.
Bankston added nine rebounds and five blocks for the Spartans (19-7, 8-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference), who have won six straight. Joe Bryant Jr. pitched in with 13 points and four steals. Caheim Brown scored 12.
Will Thomas led the Bears (12-14, 5-6) with 14 points and two steals. Kameron Hobbs had 12 points and two steals, while Daiquan Copeland added 10 points and six rebounds.
