Evans scores 25 in Jackson State's 73-64 victory over Texas Southern

JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — Ken Evans had 25 points in Jackson State's 73-64 victory against Texas Southern on Monday.

Evans added eight rebounds and three steals for the Tigers (8-10, 4-1 Southwestern Athletic Conference). Zeke Cook added 12 points while going 4 of 9 and 4 of 6 from the free throw line, and they also had nine rebounds. Keijuan Johnson had nine points and finished 4 of 7 from the field.

The Tigers (5-12, 3-3) were led by PJ Henry, who posted 20 points and three steals. Jaylen Wysinger added 13 points and two steals. Kolby Granger had eight points and two steals.
