Fairleigh Dickinson gets past Saint Joseph's (PA) 97-80

PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Demetre Roberts scored 24 points as Fairleigh Dickinson beat Saint Joseph's (PA) 97-80 on Saturday.

Roberts added six assists for the Knights (4-6). Grant Singleton added 24 points while shooting 7 for 12 (4 for 7 from 3-point range) and 6 of 6 from the free throw line, and they also had three steals. Ansley Almonor was 7 of 13 shooting, including 3 for 6 from distance, and went 2 for 3 from the line to finish with 19 points.

Erik Reynolds II led the Hawks (3-4) in scoring, finishing with 21 points. Christian Winborne added 19 points and four assists for Saint Joseph's (PA). Charlie Brown also put up nine points.

Fairleigh Dickinson entered halftime up 43-38. Singleton paced the team in scoring in the first half with nine points. Roberts scored 16 points in the second half to help lead the way as Fairleigh Dickinson went on to secure a victory, outscoring Saint Joseph's (PA) by 12 points in the second half.
