Ford's 21 lead Montana State past Eastern Washington 70-60
BOZEMAN, Mont. (AP) — Robert Ford III had 21 points in Montana State's 70-60 win over Eastern Washington on Thursday night.
Ford added seven rebounds, five assists, and six steals for the Bobcats (11-11, 6-3 Big Sky Conference). Brian Goracke scored 12 points and added six rebounds. Sam Lecholat shot 4 for 11, including 1 for 6 from beyond the arc to finish with 11 points, while adding 10 rebounds. Brandon Walker also had 11 points.
The Eagles (13-8, 7-1) were led in scoring by Casey Jones, who finished with 12 points and six rebounds. Cedric Coward added 11 points and nine rebounds for Eastern Washington. In addition, LeJuan Watts finished with eight points. The loss ended a nine-game winning streak for the Eagles.
