Giffa's 20 help High Point beat Charleston Southern 74-59

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) — Kezza Giffa had 20 points in High Point's 74-59 win over Charleston Southern on Saturday.

Giffa added five rebounds for the Panthers (23-6, 12-2 Big South Conference). Duke Miles scored 17 points while shooting 6 for 15 (1 for 6 from 3-point range) and 4 of 6 from the free throw line, and added six rebounds. Abdoulaye was 7 of 12 shooting (1 for 4 from 3-point range) to finish with 16 points, while adding seven rebounds.

The Buccaneers (9-18, 5-9) were led in scoring by RJ Johnson, who finished with 19 points. Kalib Clinton added 15 points for Charleston Southern. A'lahn Sumler also had 10 points.

Both teams play again on Wednesday. High Point hosts Winthrop and Charleston Southern hosts Radford.
