Hairston has 19 in Howard's 70-66 win against Maryland-Eastern Shore
PRINCESS ANNE, Md. (AP) — Jordan Hairston had 19 points in Howard's 70-66 win over Maryland-Eastern Shore on Saturday night.
Hairston also added three steals for the Bison (14-15, 8-4 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference). Bryce Harris added 16 points while going 6 of 9 and 3 of 4 from the free throw line, and they also had 10 rebounds. Marcus Dockery shot 5 for 13, including 4 for 8 from beyond the arc to finish with 16 points, while adding seven rebounds.
The Hawks (8-18, 3-9) were led by Kelechi Okworogwo, who recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and three blocks. Elijah Wilson added 16 points for Maryland-Eastern Shore. In addition, Dionte Johnson had 14 points.
